Requirements:
- proven working experience as an accountant;
- fluent English and Russian;
- no less than five years of overall finance experience;
- thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures;
- experience with creating financial statements;
- experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close processes;
- advanced Excel skills;
- strong influencing, facilitation and communication skills;
- ERP experience (would be an advantage).
Responsibilities:
- provide assistance and support to company management and staff;
- prepare tax reports and statutory filings in a proper and timely manner;
- answer all queries from tax and state authorities;
- assist with tax audits and tax returns;
- research, track and restore accounting or documentation problems and discrepancies;
- substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents;
- support month-end and year-end close process;
- ensure compliance with GAAP principles;
- reconcile accounts in a timely manner;
- produce error-free accounting reports and present their results;
- prepare account entries in both the local database and Oracle.
