Would you like to be invited to attend the Limoud France 2019 event and spend the weekend in Paris as a guest of Limmud?
The Ruben Landsberger Limoud France 2019 Scholarship can make this dream become possible!
The Scholarship will cover the full cost of your flight tickets to and from Paris, as well as your stay in the Limoud conference hotel: including full board from Friday 8 to Sunday 10 March 2019.
To apply you will need to meet the following conditions:
— You are resident in one of the following Limmud FSU conference countries: Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Moldova, Israel.
— You have participated in at least one Limmud FSU event in one of the above countries in the last five years.
— You have a working knowledge of French or at least a good command of English.
— You have never visited Paris before (this does not include an airport transfer or a visit with your family when you were under 18 years old).
— You will need to send a motivational letter of not more than two pages, either in French or English, to ruben@limoud.org explaining who you are, what you do, in what Limmud FSU event(s) you have participated, your level of French and/or English, why you enjoy Limmud FSU events, and why you would like to participate in Limoud Paris 2019.
The Scholarship Jury is composed of Ruben Landsberger, Sponsor of Limmud FSU and Limoud France; Denis Ktorza, President of Limoud France, and Roman Kogan, Executive Director of Limmud FSU.
Applications should be received before 20 January (midnight Paris time)
The names of scholarship winner will be published at the end of January.
The Scholarship is open to all Limmud FSU participants, but priority will be given to Limmud FSU volunteers.
Note: What is included in the Scholarship:
— Return plane ticket to and from Paris
— Bed (in a triple room shared with two other Limoud Paris participants); and full board in a four- star hotel from 8 to 10 March 2019.
— Access to all Limoud France conference activities
What is not included in the scholarship:
— Cost of visa if you require one to visit France.
— Cost of hotel room if you decide to arrive before 8 March or leave after 10 March.
